Protecting the people who built East Tennessee.
We are a coalition of law enforcement, Adult Protective Services, banks, attorneys, healthcare workers, and family caregivers working to prevent elder abuse across 16 counties.
Tennessee Adult Protective Services answers this line 24 hours a day, every day. You do not need proof, and you can stay anonymous.
Our mission
Empower consumers by advancing prevention through awareness, education, and community-based activity.
We advocate in the public, private, and legislative sectors on elder abuse issues, solutions, and prevention — and we have done it continuously since 1992, longer than any other elder abuse effort in Tennessee.
Public campaigns, information fairs, and media outreach that name abuse out loud.
Training for law enforcement, bank staff, adult protective services, attorneys, and health workers.
County affiliate groups that know their own neighbors, churches, and clinics.
